    Sew an Eco-Friendly Bag!

What better way to quell the uprising of the plastic bag, than by making your own re-usable cloth bags.
Make bags any size out of scrap fabric - here's one recycled from an old cushion cover and pillowslip!
It's reversible and lined - a great project for raw beginners, providing nearly instant gratification. Find easy, step-by-step instructions here.

I'll have a decaf soy latte thanks!

At church, I accidentally found the world's first recorded sewing project.

It's in Genesis 3 v 7 - Adam and Eve suddenly worked out they were buck naked, so "they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons."

Well, if it's good enough for our Edenites, we may as well tackle aprons as our first ever project.

Not keen on fig leaves (too temporary), I prefer a little mini apron for serving up lattes, cappucinos and expressos at home.

Basic instructions for a cute MinnieApron follow. Cheers!
